Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager in Finance to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the financial management of the organization, including financial planning, analysis, reporting, and compliance. This role requires strong analytical skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Assist in the preparation of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts. Analyze financial performance and variances, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Present financial reports to senior management.
- Budget Management: Monitor and control budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, including GST, TDS, and income tax filings. Liaise with tax authorities and manage audits.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee the management of accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs. Prepare cash flow forecasts and manage banking relationships.
- Internal Controls: Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Audit Coordination: Coordinate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and support during audit processes.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior finance staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A professional qualification such as CA, CMA, or MBA in Finance is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
